On this, the fourth Sunday in Lent, the Gospel reading tells the profound healing of a man born blind. The miracle is, well, miraculous. But there is a tender account of Jesus seeking out the man who was healed that this man may see, know and worship the Son of Man, Jesus Christ the Lord. For this purpose Jesus came into the world, to give us eyes to see! This sermon was preached by Clay Thompson at St Jude’s Anglican Church in Huntersville, NC on Sunday, March 22nd.
