“For though the Lord is high, he regards the lowly” (Psalm 138:6).

Lowly; Anna would fit this description. Mary and Joseph are among the lowly. Perhaps Simeon also. What do they all have in common? They were faithful in their worship of God. They were of little significance to the world in their day yet they believed that God would do all that He had said according to His Word, which was far more than they could have asked or imagined. Together the lowly were patiently waiting for the Messiah of God. On the day that Mary and Joseph presented Jesus at the Temple the Holy Spirit coordinated a profound moment of praise, wonder and adoration. Join us for a sermon on the Presentation of Jesus Christ at the Temple. This sermon was preached at St Jude’s Anglican Church on Sunday, February 2nd, 2020.
