This story is one of a kind! With over 20 years of experience working with students, the story of 12 year old Jesus is right up there with my personal favorites. We get one glimpse of Jesus’ life between his infancy and adult life; and this is it! Lets get to the point…If the Son of God saw fit to be formed by the Holy Scriptures, how much more should we be formed by the same?!?! As we begin a new year, let us resolve to follow the example of Jesus and so be formed and fashioned by the Word of God. This sermon from Luke 2:41-52 was preached at St Jude’s Anglican Church on Sunday, January 5th, 2020.
