Working toward the conclusion of what has been more of a survey of Paul’s letter to the Romans is a sermon on a portion of the exhortations. In light of the surpassing worth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ Paul encourages the Church to grow in their knowledge and love of what is good and pure. His desire is for the Church to adhere to and contend for the rule of faith that has been handed down to them. After all, the God of peace will soon crush Satan underneath their feet! This sermon was preached at St Jude’s Anglican Church on November 10th, 2019.
